Final crit - da,da,daaaaaaaa!!!!

Eek - on the home stretch now and Thursday saw us conduct our final crit, everyone bar one, who shall remain nameless, attended and the work looks, on the whole, pretty damn good! Here is a sneak preview of some of it.....
Ready and willing to crit - but not to be photographed it would seem!

Issie however, takes photo avoidance to a whole new level!!

Too school for cool

Apparently the fine artists picked on my girlies today, telling them that they weren't good enough to paint the spaces - so what did they do? What they do best of course - goodness knows where the other students get the idea that they are a bit flaky from......

So here we go again....

I cannot believe that it is that time of year again - SHOW TIME! My absolute favourite time of year, but blimey it comes round quick! This also means that my blog is very nearly a whole year old! So here is a sneaky look at how things take shape!

The initial removal of the rubbish - I'm sure M&S won't miss this one...

The storage of the furniture...

The erecting of the flats - Mark and Georgie always in control..

Until one student thinks he knows best - this year it's the lovely (!) Jord..

The creation of the exhibition spaces..

And the painting of them, to make them all posh and professional looking!

It's hotting up in the print room.....

Here's the latest....

Becca's first finished case - my personal favourite - a bit of a mission to get right, but it was certainly worth it!

The print close-up - couldn't have done better myself!

Lucinda has gone all patriotic, but with her own colour palette - here is the start of her rather magnificent table runner - are we building up to another street party?!

A close up of one of Ted's scarfs - lots to do, but great original imagery which uses automatic drawing and a bit of palm reading, one down, hundreds to go.....

Lottie contemplating her next move...

Lottie checking out said move - seems to have gone well!

Dress number 3 underway...

Miriam's chair print - I love this one - still, even though we seem to have been printing this image now for weeks, and weeks, and weeks!

Finished chair - lovely!

Proud Miriam!

Wall hanging print

Smug Miriam adding some final touches - well, she's allowed to be smug - it is really beautiful!

he ghost of Miriam's print...

More things to come...
